I absolutely loath to agree with Dr. Dean on anything...

... but damn

France has tremendous gun control laws, and yet these people are able to get Kalashnikovs. So, this is really complicated stuff, and I think you have to treat these people as basically mass murderers. But I do not think we should accord them any particular religious respect, because I don't think, whatever they're claiming their motivation is, is clearly a twisted, cultish mind.

Normally I'd agree with you on most items, Doc...but on Howard Dean's 1st point, not so much. Quoting Andrew McCarthy's remarks over at American Thinker:

..in addition, someone should remind the esteemed Doctor Dean that, during the attacks, the perpetrators could be heard shouting 'Allahu Akbar'...then there's the mounting evidence that they traveled to-and-from the Middle East from France, helped funnel jihadists to/from Syria and the Middle East, were known to be affiliated w/Islamist radical groups...now, if that doesn't mark them as Muslim in some way, shape or form, what the hell does?

I've been watching several news channels all day, all they've managed to do is to get one guy to say he disapproves, but that was it.
