Acutally I can't even remember the last one I read. Kind of say, I have a history degree and did nothing but read in University.

Anybody have some good suggestions? I need to get reading again. I enjoy all sorts of books. I like history, true crime, comedy and sci-fi.

3 Years?! Try some books by Stephen King or Raymond E Feist if your like Sci-Fi/Fantasy.

Also what History are you into?

I majored in mostly European history. Russian, Germany and France were the ones I was most interested in. I read alot of Balzac in school and a few Dostoevsky epics. I read most of Vonneguts novels and Steinbeck.

On the other side I like David Morrell's books. He wrote Rambob but also wrote a ton of great spy novels. One was made into a tv movie.

Theres a couple of authors I really like.. Both fairly new to writing novels

Tim Severin - Done Viking and Pirate series

Robert Low - Done a Viking series

I dont like to read either. Its probably been longer for me.

Good god you guys, here I am working towards a child labor work permit so I can work at the book store, and you haven't read in three years (or more)?

Go buy a book right now. Or torrent one. Just read.

Last book I read was for school, and before that, it was probably a couple years for myself, but I'm currently reading a book I've been wanting to read.

If I had to read Balzac or Dostoevsky, I believe I'd shoot myself in the foot.....or gouge my eyes out....

Anyway--Harry Potter series is good. CS Lewis Narnia Chronicles, The Dragons of Deltora books (and I can't remember the author of them) All very good.
