If you got given $1000 and you had to spend it in one day what would you buy?
You cannot put the money on savings.
You must spend the $1000 on yourself but no one else.
You may spend some on petrol/gas if need be. But only enough for that day.

I'd spend it all on bills and eating out. Sucks that we're not allowed to save it. Nothing I really desire to go out and buy as I have everything I want for the time being.

Its no different than going to a store and buying from a corporate business. The money goes into someone else's pocket. You're giving it to another person either way you look at it. The whole concept of money is about exchange for profit or by paying off debt. Give to get. I mean, either way, we're spending it for our benefit. Isn't that what self gain is all about?

Yes, but when you're paying for a bill unless it's a layby or something you don't get anything back that day.

With buying from the store you get to get the item the same day.
