If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job?

No. A million dollars would be enough to buy a sweet house & car but I would still need my job to pay the normal bills.

No I wouldn't quit. There'd be nothing to do and I'd get bored. But what I could do is pursue a career that I want, that might not be well paid.

I don't have a job right now so if I won a million dollars, I would quit my day job (hey! don't make since XD )

A million dollars! That's terrific for me!

Definitely I'll quit my job even though I like it.

I wanna be my own boss.lol8)

Maybe, depends on my current age at the time of receiving. If it was now, I'd still need to get a job, because my parents would mooch off of me, and it is possible that I could waste all my money before I get into old age. If it was at 30+, then maybe I'd quit my job, I don't plan to live to the point where I can't help myself :/

No. I still haven't gotten what I want out of life and quitting any job wouldn't help.

I wouldn't quite my job because a million dollar would not be enough to spend my entire life. You always need a passive source of income to survive. Whether you have a job or not, if you do not have a source of passive income, you will soon face financial crisis.

I was about to say, I would. Then I started doing the maths... It means 500 000-ish after taxes (perhaps a bit less), still 300 000-ish after paying of mortgage, 150 000-ish after paying Dragons' studies. All of a sudden it doesn't sound like enough for the rest of my life without an extra income.

I no longer have a job due to retirement but I would have quit as I hated my job. We don't use dollars here though.

Many people hate their job. They do it anyways because they have no other choice. I used to work in a telemarketing company and I really hated my job due to low pay and the bosses were very demanding. I am unemployed right now and looking for the right kind of job.
