Man... Even more amazing looking than Taupo is Lake Tekapo - here's a photo I took, NO editing, straight from the lens:

The water is actually that color, it's incredible.

When I was there in Taupo, there was a boat race on. I also had Hell Pizza for the first time there ;D Was funny, it was a holiday on holiday, since my uncle lives in Auckland, we all went for a week away down to Taupo



Lake Tekapo looks nice, but I still prefer Taupo.

Dunedin also has some awesome views - moving there for my web career later on next year.

Also the Huka falls by that dam. Went on a boat trip up to the falls from the dam, even got to steer the boat, don't worry, I didn't crash it XD

Did you go into that old church on the shore of the lake? If you did, you should recognise the photo that I took - it's through the window of the church behind the alter. Even if the pastor sucked at speaking... You wouldn't fall asleep with a view like that.

Edit: And I agree, L&P is awesome. If you get a chance, try some Lift +.

Nah, I did not see the church. I've seen Lift around, gotta try it. Last night though I had Burgerfuel (while pissed, of course) and it was unbelievable. That place is just fucking great. Way better than the overrated Furgerburger in Queenstown (dunno if you've been).

If you get a chance to go down south a bit, have a look at the Routeburn track - it's really beautiful, but will be really, really cold this time of year.

Yes! Burger Fuel is EPIC.

Another awesome burger place is Burger Wisconsin - they make amazing, amazing burgers. <3

It's a beautiful track. We did it in two days as well, it's just stunning when there's a bit of snow around too.
