unpopular opinion here (maybe), but I really enjoyed covid lockdown
though it was annoying not to be able to buy stuff from the shops or eat out, (no mcdonalds = an unhappy emily!) it felt so good to finally be on everyone else's level
that is to say I'm not the only person not doing anything with my life, there are hundreds of people (fair enough, they couldn't help it and their plans were disrupted), but it felt so good for someone to ask me what I was doing, for me to say nothing as usual, and be accepted for it rather than judged because everyone was doing the same
I went back to church at the end of last year too, that was nice. it's an all female group and I like that
