This elm tree is seventy years old, and has been dying of Dutch Elm disease for a dozen years or more. A few months ago it dropped a limb that itself would have been a good sized tree itself. It may have to come down this summer before it falls on its own and blocks the road or lands on the house or something.

My great grandma's cabin had a tree fall through it. Luckily nobody was home at the time. Now there is no home there.
 
I hate snow for many reasons. Not just because it's cold, but because it also screws up traffic.
 
Schools still closed today, have been since Monday.

Finally got mail yesterday.

Temp is above 0 F for the first time since Sunday.

Appliance place said they'll try to deliver the washer that was supposed to be here Monday today. Same with UPS and a package for my wife, but it is only two days late now.

OK. We've had enough winter. Let's hear it for Spring!
