Do you use this feature in your browser? What do you use it for? (besides looking at porno's)

I've never used this feature.

I always use the feature on my laptop's Chrome. Because of security reasons. Btw this iPad has private browsing on its Safari too. (Which was implemented on iOS 5.)

I use it whenever I want to log in to Twitter or something that my girlfriend and I both use without logging her out.

Best to use a proxy server or proxy application on your computer. If you really want some privacy. Use the Tor network.

Just read this and thought I would share it:

The hackers who say they took down gaming networks are now going after Tor.

A hacking group that calls itself Lizard Squad claimed it was behind Christmas Day outages on Sony and Microsoft's gaming networks. And now, it says, it has turned its eyes toward anonymous browsing tool Tor.

Yeah. Seems they caught it in time though. Or so I should hope. I use Tor quite a bit. These Lizard Squad hackers are starting to get on my nerves.Sony and Microsoft getting hacked didn't bother me very much, but when they attack proxies like Tor, than they're starting to piss me off. :@

This looks like a regular attempt at a Sybil attack: the attackers have signed up many new relays in hopes of becoming a large fraction of the network. But even though they are running thousands of new relays, their relays currently make up less than 1% of the Tor network by capacity. We are working now to remove these relays from the network before they become a threat, and we don't expect any anonymity or performance effects based on what we've seen so far.
