KNOWN ISSUES FOR CONVERTED MEMBERS:​



  • CAN I GET MY CASH RESTORED?

Cash restorations were offered for two months after the conversion. Unfortunately we no longer offer this service.

  • BB CODES / SMILEYS ON REPLY SCREENS



If you do not see any bb codes or smileys on your reply screens..

> Go to Edit Options in the User Control Panel.

Shortcut: http://offtopix.com/profile.php?do=editoptions

Scroll all the way down to the bottom of that screen.

> Under Miscellaneous Options / Message Editor Interface

> Choose Standard Editor or Enhanced Interface

  • AUTOMATIC THREAD SUBSCRIPTIONS



Another issue that has been presented for converted members is every thread you reply to, you are automatically subscribed to it....

One of our members has posted a tutorial to stop that:

This will permanently stop all email notifications for threads you post to including future threads.



>Click Usercp

>Click Edit options

>Look for messaging & notifications (default thread subscription mode)

>Click on the drop down and choose do not subscribe

>Scroll down and save

Welcome to the new era of Off Topix!



We are now using the vBulletin forum software. I decided to convert to the 3.x version and wait until vBulletin releases its final completed gold version of vBulletin 4.

We have 5 new skins installed! You will notice a drop down menu on the bottom of every page where you can select whatever skin tickles your fancy.

I noticed a hidden forum I had access to is no longer viewable. Is that been removed or simply a problem that needs to be fixed first before everyone who had access can get that access back?
