Name: Inpronix OS
Link: http://inpronix.net/
Description: Inpronix OS is a Linux distribution operating system based on the famous Debian GNU/Linux. The aim of the OS is to offer up to date software along with ways to download non-free software, while using low amounts of RAM and CPU. The OS is mostly aimed at workstations but is usable by anyone, from a beginner, to gamer (because one of our packages includes a Steam downloader), and even a Linux expert! It comes with the MATE desktop enviroment, based on GNOME 2, which can be described as similar to Mac or Windows GUIs. It also comes with the typical Linux accessories and the Chromium browser, an open source port of Google Chrome, sponsored by Google themselves. The operating system is not released yet but will have a first release candidate very soon, so keep checking for updates.

I bet you're having fun with this project. :)

Yes I am!

I want a local university (or a reigonal one) to sponsor a mirror for it so people can download it. I'm limited to 2TB of monthly bandwidth with overages at $4 a terabyte and Linux can use quite a bit.

Maybe not Indiana University though, their bandwidth is only at 100Mbps in state, with 10Mbps out of state. :P

Hopefully you can find a sponsor! ...or a good place to host your files
