Internet Upgrade!

I called to switch my internet service over to my new house on the 1st of the month. They have some specials going on right now.. The lady said if I just transfer my service over, I wont qualify for the deal. She said there is a way around it though, she could cancel the account I have here at this house and create a new account for me at the new house. Then I would be eligible for the deal. So thats what I did.



Right now I pay $19.95 a month for their slowest DSL package - 768 Kbps



After I move I will pay $19.95 a month for their fastest DSL package - 6.0 Mbps



So I will pay the same thing for internet that is over 6 times faster. The promotion is good for 12 months then I can downgrade to something cheaper if I want.



No more pauses/choppy videos or Loading messages when I am watching videos.

Well the internet was ready here at my new place when I got here. I hooked up my computer and I instantly noticed the speed improvements. Much better.

A 15mbps FiOS line costs nearly $50 though

I know.. Since I dont have cable, I like having a faster internet so I can watch all my shows. Who needs a TV? Everything I want to watch is either on hulu or the tv network's website.
