This looks good although I'd rather it wasn't a cartoon.

I would too; but, it's way, way too graphic to ever make it to the big screen. Some of the panels are especially graphic (worse than The Boys). I feel like cartoon is the easier medium to introduce people to the graphic novel series and go from there.
