Is Quora the best question answering site?

I have found Quora to be helpful in many cases. I have always gone to the site to get answers to difficult questions involving my studies back then in school. Do we have a better site now or is Quora your best bet too?

I thought it was pretty good at answering questions. I used to use it all of the time. I haven't been on there lately.

I personally don't use Quora because they require you to create an account to view most answers

I used to use Yahoo Answers but that was just for the entertainment value of reading troll questions & answers.

Would really rather just go to specific subreddits on Reddit to ask questions.

lol and now they're wanting users to upgrade to premium to view their highest rated answers and I'm not paying that.
