Yes, it's constitutional. Welfare is a privilege, not a right. If you want the privilege of receiving free money from the rest of the public, then you should be willing to abide by simple requirements. This ensures that the money is going to people that deserve it and not to a drug abuser. If someone on welfare fails a drug test without prescription, I think they should lose all of their benefits.

a lot of the people that lose their jobs and can't find employment are the ones that have been putting their tax money into the system, to only be criticized by people that haven't lost their jobs yet and that would need the help... i agree that there will always be people that take advantage of the system, but who are you to say that only drug addicts are?

You need to read back up to the top from my first post nothing has changed. It is about my money. And the federal government is deciding for me how it thinks charity should be dispensed. That is unconstitutional. That's for the states to decide and preferably charities and churches to handle so the people can make free decisions for themselves.

First thats what the founders wanted and intended and that is states rights. Second the states can manage better what there personal needs are for the people then one bloated federal government for everyone that puts everyone in one box that fits all. Its smacking you right in the face what a cluster screw up are federal government is in every aspect. Americans should be able to freely be able to move from state to state and best decide how they want there tax dollars used for such programs that best fits there personal beliefs.

No I am against government giving out any entitlements. That is for personal charities and churches. But I can except it as constitutional and what the states people want.

Yes I am against all those things except for churches that do true charity paying taxes. And I am no pro church person I am a atheist before you ask.

Yes I said it. But as you know that is not what I am referring to. You have this notion that without the government the children will die of starvation. And you have a silly notion that if people do not want government feeding the children we must want them to suffer and die of starvation.

Children and people have always been starving and sadly always will but With corrupt governments the cause most of it. More real freedom and small governments not stealing the peoples money and interfering in every aspect of our life would be far better for all lives. When people have more money in there pockets because of freedom people are more generous with it for good causes.
