Of course it's bad, you're breathing in toxins. Where is the conspiracy?

There is none.  Its common sense that it's bad for you.

some people say that second hand smoke studies are exaggerated and misleading/inaccurate...

Is there any terrible thing you wont defend?

not defending it, i know smoking is unhealthy...

but i do understand that anything could be unhealthy to someone and not everyone has the reaction of smoking like others...

Let me guess. The some people you are referring to are smokers, right? Has to be right as only a smoker would be stupid enough to think secondhand smoke studies are exaggerated and misleading/inaccurate.

perhaps, and other people that are in the health and science study/field...

i'm not saying smoking is not unhealthy, because that's been proven, but what some people are saying that studies and stats are sometimes misleading and/or exaggerated... in which, does have some truth to it...

but again, smoking is not healthy, just don't smoke... :P

But where is the logic that states because smoking is unhealthy for the smoker that it wouldn't be as damaging for someone standing around them, being in the same car, being in the same home or vicinity as a smoker? Perhaps it is not as magnified depending on your position, but we do know--as science has proven cigarette smoking is bad--that second-hand smoke can be just as dangerous. I just don't understand where the disconnect is coming from.
