Is there a new restaurant or fast-food joint open that you would love to try?

We see it often when somewhere closes down and we find that either a restaurant or a fast-food joint tends to take the spot.

I know whenever I see a new restaurant or fast-food spot I tend to sort a day where me and my family can try out the new place to see what it is like. At the moment, we do not have any new places near us so nowhere new to try at this time.

Are there any new restaurants or fast-food joints near you that you want to try out?

There's a place in New Orleans called Turkey and the Wolf, pretty catch name. It's actually a sandwich shop but it was featured on some food program. Anyway, I want to try it because of their collard greens melt.

It looks delicious. I don't get to NO often but I have vacation time coming up soon so I hope to make a trip there.

And....your analysis. :D I'm most likely not going to be passing through NOLA any time soon. That is a pretty strange-looking critter, sure makes me curious about what goes into it. Gotta taste really great or totally disgusting. Rye bread maybe? some local bakery or 'homemade'. :dontknow:

I know collard greens, fan of greens, and coleslaw, not sure about the bread though. I'll give a proper review when I get around to eating it.

I love greens too, but I've just never dreamed of/heard of collard greens on a sandwich. :D

Me neither but that's why I want to try it so much lol. When I first saw the program I was like, I've got to try that. Of course there's a lot of other things I want to as well. Stuffed bell peppers, that's a thing down here too and even fried green tomatoes though I'm not a fan of cornmeal.

I always wanted to try to Whataburger, I went to Texas a couple months back and tried it finally. It was okay. Kind of reminds me of Jack in the Box.

I've also always wanted to try White Castle and I am sure when I finally try that I'll be underwhelmed as well. :P

I've heard raves about Whataburger. Good to have a first-hand review; if it's anything similar to Jack in the Box .... meh.

Hopefully the picture shows up but finally finally finally got to visit Turkey and the Wolf with my husband and MIL. It was everything I thought it would be. Spicy, cheesy, and good. Loved it. The bread was buttery but not too much and the atmosphere was laid back although busy. Give it a 10/10. Great service too.

There is one
A Dessert Bar & Cafe that open a while ago but never went there yet ... from what people say and also photos it is very good and way too many choices

Don't even know if it exists anymore, a fast food place called Thai Mango or Mango Thai at SeaTac. I want one.

I was sure that I had replied to this, but I don't see it now.

@Crys ~ Sounds like something you could get ONLY in NOLA! Makes me miss my I-10 road-running days; if I were ever to be in the neighborhood again I'd really want to look that place up. Thanks so much for your review! 💕

I think it is. They even put it on those kiddy McDonald's plates too. Hopefully you get to try it. Place gets busy but it's well worth it. Actually wish I brought home a sandwich too.
