Have you ever joked around with your partner or a friend by teasing them about something that you think they obviously wouldn't believe, and they took you seriously instead?

For example, I teased my wife once that we were having something to eat that she didn't like and she ended up bringing something home after work. I was like...."but I was just teasing..."

I joked around with someone at work where I made our coworkers think she got a promotion and they kept calling her a lead. She did not like that lol.

I'll often say stuff to my g/f to mock her, and she'll get mad, and I'll have to say "I was just kidding!!", then she'll smart off to me. lol
