Each month this year I am doing a photo project, the first is "where I live" which happens to be Coventry, England.

Here are the first set. They mostly focus on landmarks within the city centre.

More will be posted in this thread as I take them.

What a beautiful city centre where you live. May I ask what the landmarks are? Also would love to know what EE asked: That bronze statue in the second and third pictures, what scene does it depict?

Hmm, neat.

That bronze statue in the second and third pictures, what scene does it depict?

First picture is Millennium Place with the Millennium Arches. In the background you can see the old Fire Station. Under the arches you can see a state of Sir Frank Whittle inventor of turbo jet engine.

Old and new Cathedrals. Old was bombing during the blitz. The new one built in the 60s is among the newest in the world.

Just some cool brick wood, windows, and a pigeon at the Canal basin

Statue of James Brindley also at the Canal Basin

Thank you so much for replying back as to what the landmarks are. Look forward to seeing some more pictures!

Did you use a wide angle or fisheye lens, or was that effect done in post processing?

Not a wide angle lens as such, it's a wide to standard zoom of 28-135mm and they were shot at the wide end. The editing for first 3 images are HDR.
