On paper this should be the worst band on earth, but Babymetal are probably the coolest thing we've seen all week.

I like them. Though fusing pop with metal isn't a new thing, at all. Visual kei acts have been doing it since the 80s. Babymetal are just the flavour of the month, I suppose.

There's alot of really good heavy metal bands from Japan, I've heard similar stuff on my friends anime songs on her mp3 player.
