Japanese Poetry

Japanese poetry has influenced English literature greatly. Haiku and Tanka are some of the Japanese poetry styles that are very popular in English literature. I have read a lot of Japanese poetry translated into English. I have also read a lot of English poems that are heavily influenced by Japanese poetry style. Do you read Japanese poetry? Have you read Japanese poetry?

I do not read very much Japanese poetry; but, Haiku just fascinates me.
