You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late one more time you get fired. What do you do?

For all that answered the dog, in today's economy and unemployment rising, you would really risk your job to save a dog?

The dog. I'd explain to my boss the situation and hopefully he/she would understand. If not, I believe everything happens for a reason, and I'd continue to walk in faith, knowing I did the right thing.

Without a doubt for me. There is no way I could look at myself in the mirror if I'd let that dog die. I can go flip burgers at McDonald's till I find a better job but I would not be able to get that dog out of my head. I like animals better than people anyway so this would be an easy choice for me to make.
This sums up my thoughts exactly. Especially the bolded part.

I'd go for the dog too! Someone gave me a plaque that sums up my feelings: The more people I meet - The more I like my dog.

I like my dog too, but there's a few nice genuine people out there.

The dog, Anyway i'm self employed and I own an internet company so I wouldn't be walking to work.

Sounds horrible but my job is more important that a dog. Its extremely hard to find another job right now and I dont really feel like being homeless.

Thats true, Im currently studying at college...Im not sure what to do next get a job or go university. I have a part time job and if I lost that it would take me months to find another one. My friend has been applying for several jobs over the past year and has had no luck.

It would depend on the job, if i was high up in a job then i may take the job but dog otherwise.

There's plenty of both in the world.
