Stemming from my reply in another thread, sometimes we approach people in life who we think are going to act and think a certain way, or believe in certain things, but we end up being wrong. What are some stories of those times when you incorrectly judged someone based on your initial interactions with them?

I remember doing this with someone who I have now been good friends with for 7 years. I met them playing Saints Row on the Xbox 360 in 2008 and my first thoughts about them were they would not be the kind of person I would get on with due to their personality at the time but something told me to give them a chance and I am very glad I did because my first thoughts about this person turned out not to be correct.

I doubt that stalker died. The "no one could find an obituary" statement is something I don't understand. Maybe she ended up being an outsider?

Or...reinvented herself into someone else.

That's very interesting Jazzy, and suspicious to boot. I mean, you can never know what a person is like until you get to know them, and it is much more difficult online as you cannot see them face-to-face. I've found that even meeting someone in person can be difficult to tell what kind of person they are.

An obituary isn't always published for everyone who dies.

Add to that the fact obituaries are mostly expensive, since they're published on the newspaper and people have to pay $$$ to the media agency for that.
