What do you guys think? If we are able to successfully gather complete DNA from prehistoric creatures do you think eventually we will be able to clone them?

I think it would be pretty awesome. It would probably be best to keep dinosaurs in a zoo or Jurassic Park type park setting but I think it would be pretty awesome.

Now I'd recommend anybody building such a park watch the movie and make sure they don't make the same mistakes or leave the same loopholes but it would be pretty awesome if something along the lines of a real live Jurassic Park could be scientifically engineered in the future.

What do you think? Do you think it's possible?

OMG I hope not!

If it did I am sure that what happened in the film would happen in real life too!

How on earth could you seriously contain dinosaurs?

Surely they would escape and wipe out mankind?

But then, would that be such a bad thing???

The planet would return to nature. It would recover from pollution and global warming.

Maybe one day man would be re-conceived from the primordial gloop? (Should there be any primordial gloop to be re-conceived from).

Call me crazy, Rapunzel, but I don't see a dinosaur destroying a tank just yet

I have my doubts about this being possible, mostly because of mitochondrial DNA, but also because it'd be fairly hard to find some good Dino DNA.

I think there is a possibility, but it is much farther off in the future than we think. Remember, we're almost eleven years overdue for the flying cars people said back in 1900 that we'd have in 2000...

...and yeah, with the de-regulation fest many Western economies have been/are being battered with - not such a good idea. We have the protections to take out a dinosaur, probably, but some company out there would find a loophole to weaponise dinosaurs, and then sell them to angry civilians...and then...Turok save us.
