Last night, I got so irritated by my keyboard that I took the entire thing apart and cleaned it. How often do you clean your keyboard? I think it had been at least 6 months since I had done that. It was totally disgusting.....

The keys on mine had been sticking pretty bad. I popped the keys out and started cleaning around the ones that were sticking. Then I just had to do the whole thing. Works like it's brand new now.

Mine looks alright...I wouldn't turn it upside down though. I've never cleaned my keyboards, too scared to do so.

Nope cant say that I have... I have spilled a drink on a couple keyboards before and had to buy new ones. Luckily they are very cheap.

I wouldn't have the paitence to unplug all the keys and then clean it. I just swap it out. I won a few keyboards from tournaments, etc, so I have a lineup to swap in and out.

I know people that take their keyboards apart, for fun, in RL, however.

I had to switch a couple keys today--I put the 'printscreen' key in the wrong place.....oops...

i don't clean my keyboard, it don't get dirty!

I buy a brand new one every 2 months, I don't clean mine though.

I always have clean hands, I never eat over the keyboard, and I use the air can on it every once in a while so I never clean it, but it isn't dirty, just some dust.



I would just buy a new one every once in a while, but that would cost me $100 every time.

I got another new keyboard today. I broke my old one (which is only a couple months old). I had it on my lap.. The phone rang.. I get up to go get the phone, not thinking about the keyboard, and it hits the (tile) floor and cracks in half.

Oops.

I've put the vacuum cleaner over it, but that's all the cleaning I've ever seen done to it apart from the time my brother spilt his breakfast over it.

I usually turn my over and tap the back of it to make the crap fall out of it.
