They make cutting things quick and easy.

You can use them to cut herbs, open packages, or even chop up chicken.

They are super useful and can do a lot of things that make cooking simpler.

So, do you use kitchen scissors a lot while in the kitchen?

I have two sets of scissors in my kitchen- one is a pair of butcher's scissors or something that I rarely use, and one is a regular set of scissors for opening packages that I can't seem to rip with my hands.

I have some. Easy for stuff like cutting up cilantro and green onions for taco toppings, which is what I did yesterday :P

I got them with my cutlery set but I rarely use them.
Most people don't use them often. In the past, I didn't use them much either.

My son always tells me off because I usually grab an old knife to open packages.

Yeah, work well with that .
If you've never done it before also are useful for trimming fat from meats and cutting chicken thigh meat off the bone.
It's safer and easier than using a knife because it reduces the risk of slipping and allows for more precise cuts.

And there are many more uses, One of my favourites is cutting up a whole roast chicken from Costco when I get it. 🍗

Yes I do that too. Much quicker that way.
