Incensed that her boyfriend began eating their Thanksgiving dinner while she was asleep following a day of drinking, a Pennsylvania woman grabbed a knife and stabbed the man after chasing him around the dining room table, cops report.

Jack-Lyn Blake, 47, is locked up in the Luzerne County jail on an assortment of criminal charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, reckless endangerment, and making terroristic threats.

According to Wilkes-Barre police, officers responded yesterday to Blake’s residence around 6:30 PM after receiving a 911 call about a stabbing. When they arrived at the home, Blake, who was exiting the residence, announced, “I stabbed him.”

Further investigation revealed that Blake’s beau, Benjamin Smith, had been stabbed in the chest. Smith, who was pressing a towel to his wound when police arrived, was later treated at a local hospital for the non-life-threatening injury.

Obviously, knife registration is needed to protect the children.

Practically anything can be a deadly weapon if you know how to use it right. Let's just make everything illegal because it's potentially dangerous.

US Teacher Stabbed to Death in Abu Dhabi
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Dec 3, 2014

An American schoolteacher was stabbed to death in a public restroom at a mall in Abu Dhabi by a suspect wearing the full black veil commonly worn by local women throughout the Arab Gulf region, according to video released Wednesday by police.

A statement posted on the Abu Dhabi Interior Ministry's website said the victim was stabbed Monday with a butcher's knife that was found by police. The statement said the American woman was a 37-year-old kindergarten teacher. Her name has not been made public.

The victim had 11-year-old twins who are now in the custody of police until their father, who is the victim's ex-husband, arrives from abroad.

Col. Rashid Borshid, head of the Criminal Investigation Department, said the attacker remains at large. He said police are investigating possible motives and the gender of the attacker, who was wearing a full veil, a long black robe and black gloves.

He said a fight broke out between the victim and the attacker in the women's restroom just before the stabbing, which took place on the upscale Reem Island in Abu Dhabi.

Closed-circuit footage released Wednesday by the Interior Ministry shows the suspect dressed in head-to-toe black and entering the mall. The suspect appears to ask mall security where the restroom is and grabs a free magazine on the way inside.

It then shows the suspect running out of the bathroom with other women and fleeing the mall. The video also shows a trail of blood on the bathroom floor.

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- St. Paul police say a "person of interest" wanted in a fatal weekend stabbing is in custody.

Earlier Monday, police said they were looking for the ex-boyfriend of a woman who was fatally stabbed.

Authorities have identified the victim as 38-year-old Miranda Schunk. They said Schunk was arguing with the 42-year-old man in a hallway of her apartment building about 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Police say she was stabbed multiple times and was taken to Regions Hospital where she later died of her injuries.

maybe there should be a knife registration policy and a database with all registered knives!

Might as well lock us ALL away in padded rooms for our safety.

She was charged with 'terroristic threats'.. WTF is that?

Is everything an act of terrorism now?

it's easier to make anyone a major criminal now so they can lock you up or shoot you...

the good stuff... :P

but on a serious note, the government does group up people and list groups as "terrorists" when it's not proven that all of the members in said groups are criminals... but, if the fbi lists you as a criminal then good luck on that court fight...

I do agree with that, that is why I consider myself to be lucky I live in Europe..although that also might change in the future...

it's over there too, but here in america it's too the extreme...

the state and police corruption in america is just ridiculous...

america = violence...

there's always been a problem with knives in all societies because of human nature... humans generally are violent and knives are easy to have... governments are violent and use force upon the people... media, movies and tv are violent... monkey see monkey do in many aspects but deep down, generally, human beings are violent creatures...
