Do you care what knives you use ? any brand your prefer or just buy and use what ever .

I have a lot but this are my most favourite and have for many years
global ikasu 7 piece knife block set

Beautiful set of knives! (and block)

I have a drawer full of potpourri that has accumulated over the years.
There are seven - no brand names, but all marked on the blades Molybdenum /Vanadium Steel/Japan - I picked them up separately at yard sales and thrift stores about 15-20 years ago.
Almost exactly like this:

Very thin blades; I use the shortest size daily for sandwiches and slicing & chopping fruits & vegies.
Then a sturdier, thicker-blade set of 5 Kershaw brand knives that my husband gave me about 20 years ago when we were still dating.
After that, a wild variety. :D

I have a lot of Cuisinart brand knives, they are decent.
I don't think that any of my knives are Cuisinart; but Cuisinart sure makes lots of good smaller, affordable kitchen items.

you right they are decent i have two if this brand got them when were on special

Nowadays I would rather buy cheaper knives and just replace them. I think we currently have some Walmart-brand knives

A while ago got this knife while on special for about 7 bucks ....( i think it was about 27) but i find it very uncomfortable

Do you have a 'yard sale' box to pitch things like that into? :p
