I appreciate and genuinely enjoy the background and banner transitioning however, I think that the bars in the actual skin shouldn't be such a light color of green and should instead have a similar color to the background, you could also use icons and buttons as said by Marc. Besides that, the website has an interesting appeal to it and I wish you the best in your future.
