My last online purchase was actually four Intel stylus pens, but I did not pay actual money for them; I bought them with chips on a special site. ;)

It sucks when they just leave something on your doorstep and someone swipes it!

Did that happen to you?

Almost. The package just had dog treats so they left them strewn (is that a word?) all over my front porch.

That really sucks. I have an ongoing request that I have to sign for packages. If I'm not here they leave a note telling me they tried to deliver. Then the give me another delivery date. I have a business account with FedEx.

Does that cost extra?

The thing about online shopping is, its cheaper.. But its not cheaper if you use the more expensive shipping options. Sometimes you can pay an extra $20 or more (on top of tax) just to get the damn thing to you house.

Since I have a business, it was free for me to sign up for the option that I had to be home and sign for the delivery. All I had to do was show them proof (my business tax I.D. #).

I just ordered parrot food this morning. I ordered five, 25 lb. bags, for $54.98. It was free shipping on orders $49,99 or more so I only had to pay tax.

Sign up where? Through the post office or at each place you shop (like amazon)
