Do you do your own laundry?

At home or at the laundromat?

How do you get some really tough stains out? What methods, chemicals/products do you use?

We have our own, and do our own, and sometimes, we do the laundry at my parents house too.

Something else, we use Unscented detergent. Neither of us like the idea of long term exposure to the bio-reactive persistent chemicals they have to use to give your clothes a "pleasant scent" all the way through the wash, rinse, and drying process. Think about it.

As a general stain remover we use Oxy-Clean.

We now have hard water, and detergents don't work as well as they should, so they need a boost.

ALSO, check the stain when the garment comes out of the washer BEFORE you dry it.

Once it goes through the heat of the drier, the stain is probably permanent.

I do my laundry myself at home. I hate do the laundry but I hate even more still have piles of dirty clothes. Regarding the difficult spots In this case I always call to my mom :) for advice ;]
