What was your least favorite class in school and for those, such as myself that are still going to school, what is your least favorite class right now? What was so unappealing about it? Did you have a teacher that ruined your experience?

I hated maths, it's was my worse subject.

I enjoyed some variations of Science however, despised this years, it was a mixture of the teacher and the class in general, she was just horribly unpleasant and had this idea that her class was the prominent one and had an enormous workload compared to the others and I blame the teacher for that (oh, don't say that teachers don't decide the projects or what we do, because they do, it's almost entirely them so they're at fault) but she was entertaining at times. I remember that a student called a classmate a bitch and the classmate got up and started cussing off a storm but the teacher said, Yeah, well, I've been called that hundreds of times, don't see me complaining. From this school, it's really shocking to hear cuss words from the teacher plainly. I also remember when she asked my opinion on her teachings and I made a joke about her being a little scary and she said it's because she's a bitch.

Math was my worst. They required us to pass algebra to graduate. I had to take it over 2 years. Algebra A and Algebra B. Basically its a 1 year class stretched out into two. lol

It actually took me a while to think of a least favorite but I don't really think I have one. I mean most of my courses were just weighted the same favor whether if it was good or bad.

I had to take Algebra A this year, however, they called it Pre-Algebra (though they've reverted back to calling it Algebra A), I wouldn't consider myself bad at math, I was making B's this year, however, last year, I only passed with a C. It mostly was because I was being lazy but honestly, I blame the teacher on that route because he made the opportunity so open to take. I never turned in one lesson that year of home work, and I didn't always do spectacular on the tests, yet my grades never slipped nor did they really reflect the work I was doing, if you give somebody the opportunity to slack off with no harm done than they're going to take it.

Mine was P.E I find exercise to be very useless. But now I have to do exercise due to my health.

I wouldn't say that I find exercise useless, it's important to stay in-shape and healthy, but I don't think PE itself is necessary.

Probably English Literature.

Zzzzzzzzzz...

My worst class isn't in school, but University. And that would be the Graduate Development Program it's a crock of bull. It's like a form. Seriously, I'm 19 years old, I don't need to go to form. And, the teacher we got, was a research lecturer who didn't know where/who he was half of the time. One time we went to the GDP session, and we sat there for 30 mins before we managed to collar another lecturer to ask to find him. Turned out he wasn't there, and when he came for the next session, he said he forgot about us. This happened twice. And when he did turn up it was one of the most awkward hour(s) of my life. [puts head in hands] Nothing good ever came out of it, he had no idea what we were supposed to do. And then he neglected to mention a piece coursework that we were supposed to do, and we only found out during another lecture, and only had a week to do it in when other's had 4 weeks.

So... what was it supposed to be about, Dragon?

I really disliked French... I sucked

More annoying, though, are the useless classes that you only have to do so you can pass. Had to do a culture class for a year, I didn't dislike the class as such, it was just so damn pointless.

@EE: Apparently it was supposed to teach us essential life skills... Whatever...

I hate math. It's so pointless, you don't use anything you learn in high school math after you graduate unless you become like an engineer or a mathematician. It wouldn't be so bad if teachers didn't assign so much homework, seems like you have to spend an hour each night doing pointless, tedious things to pass the class. D:

English is also annoying, the way they study the books is insane. I doubt a lot of the writers really meant that much in their books...

Math teachers aren't particularly worried whether or not you're going to use what you learn. You go to school to learn and apply your understanding, which makes it easy for Universities to determine whether or not you're clever enough for a course.

At Uni, where the aim is to give you the skills to be employed in your desired profession, you learn things that you will learn after you graduate.

I had to do a class called Science Agriculture, which is basically differentiating dirt and so on, and I was surprised whenever I looked around and everyone was a senior and approaching their graduation from school as a whole. A couple of weeks past, and I tried and tried and never could get the hang of it nor could I see the point, but then I took comfort because whenever I looked around I realized that only one of the seventeen kids in the class was passing and that was with a C-, eventually I got switched to Finance Math, which I passed with an A-, I'd rather have taken a low grade in Agriculture for another semester to be honest with you because the teacher in this class is tediously annoying. She is labeled as one of the strangest teachers in the school because of the fact that she occasionally utilizes lingo that teenagers supposedly say even though I would never say anything that she said (but I'm normal) then the very next minute she'll literally yell at you for making her mad and the weird thing is, I was basically her star pupil for that year because of how good I was at Finance Math and Computer Technology. In Finance Math, she didn't really have a baseline for what she was doing, which I don't blame her for because apparently the school came up with bringing the class back at very last minute, so we did these honestly really tiring math equations to the entirety of the six months, they weren't particularly hard but there was hundreds of them and that's what we basically spent the entire hour doing every day and some of them felt overly complicated for such essentially non-complicated equations. I remember that during one class period of typing the very first day that she was teaching she told all of us to talk to our fingers because some of us (me including) weren't keeping our fingers in home position (I type relatively fast and I never have to backspace so I don't see why it matters) and one day she said it to me three times over and over and I turned and said, You realize that I'm not schizophrenic and will not talk to my fingers, correct. (Yes, I know schizophrenia isn't a mental illness that causes you to talk to your fingers)

*gulp* That was much longer of a post than I thought it'd be.

I hated spanish, biology ( because of the teacher ) and human & social biology ( a rip-off biology subject ) .

What did she do?

She laughed it off whenever I said it probably because she was newer and desired to a degree to set a good first impression though I don't recall how it happened, but I said something along the lines of, You know that I actually know how to use a computer, and know how to use it very well, right? and she stood me up and yelled at the top of her lungs at me, it seems she should've yelled at me for the schizophrenic comment over the letting you know I'm not a little kid comment.
