Cheater! How did you fare without the coding?

Oh, about 30,000 posts.

I left a forum recently. Had enough of being called a racist because some people can't take a joke.

I posted this as joke and then someone had a go at me so, I said that 90% of Americans I've met on Xbox Live & the internet actually think that world is like that, and America is the best thing EVER. I was saying how they were total pricks. Suddenly, I was calling every single American an idiot despite the fact I said I have met some truly amazing Americans online.

I even want to move to America because I like the life style. I wouldn't move to somewhere where I hate the people would I?

But whatever

Ive seen that image posted in a Bash-Americans type threads on forums in the past.

Images like these can be taken in a light hearted way or it could be a tool to start a riot. Depends on who see's it. If I see things poking fun at americans I just laugh it off. Just like some people laugh it off when someone pokes fun at their country.

Other's need to take a chill pill

I just had a member leave/delete himself from the forum I run. I feel seriously baffled by this. I figure this thread since its about one leaving a forum would be fine for telling this.

Well, guess what?

You know that forum I posted about earlier?

I just got my account deactivated.

Not banned, no, they're too diplomatic to do something that low. They just changed my email address and screwed with my password.

I'm now one very pissed off individual with a lot of inside information about how they operate.

Wow that is pretty low of them. I wonder if they changed your password to look at your PM's and pose as you on the board..

If they have, I will personally hack their asses off and remove all traces of them from the board.

yeah I'd be pretty pissed if someone did that to me. I hate corrupt admins.

I'd had it over and above them as it was, but to do this... Is just too far.

I have five other accounts on that board, and it's time to spread hell with each one. I've had enough.

Well who would be more in the wrong, them for screwing with your account or you for screwing with the board?

Them screwing with my account. I'm only making a few posts to point out what exactly they've done.

I was staff on that board, written custom coding, and this is how they repay me? Too little, too late.

I usually do not tend to leave a forum permanently, unless, it gets shut down or something. As long as I remember a forum, I may visit occasionally.

I left one forum because of corrupt administration.

It wasn't as bad as some of those stories, but it was just weak. The Admins were extremely bias in promoting Admins/Mods, and someone joined, spammed, and got Admin in 14 days because the owner liked them.

The users there cared about nothing but staff. There was quite a few staff groups, and most were extremely easy to get in (I didn't want to be staff, but if I wanted to all I had to do was fill out an application that is extremely easy to get right to get Mod or something else).

It was also the side forum of a larger forum (something I didn't know about for awhile). Because of this, people from the main forum often bashed them. They would respond by going back to the main forum and complaining to them about what their users are doing on a different site.

They never banned anyone, no matter what. I think only one person was banned after posting porn (this is a PG/G forum as well), and rickrolling one of the administrators, and someone else after trolling and causing quite a few people to leave. The last was unbanned and given Global Moderator, and then went on a banning spree and randomly banned people, and was not demoted.

Before I left I was a group administrator (I oversaw a staff group, and though it was the lowest one I made it hard to get because I made sure you deserved it). I learned some information, and then linking became against the rules. I got banned for 3 days for posting a link to a site that someone asked for.

I was pretty good friends with the only good admin, and she talked to the owner. He had no intention of changing anything, so I left to the main forum. This was in October when I left, and they have not changed.
