Did you ever get into Legos when you were a kid or are you still into building with them just for fun?

I loved it when I was a kid, I just had a huge wooden box of Lego that someone bought secondhand from somewhere I guess, there were a LOT of people but not a single instruciton leaflet to make anything, so it was really free and creative. Later on I got a few new things with instructions but they just got made once and then thrown into the box with the rest.

I asked for Legos every holiday I could. My favorite were the medieval sets, with the horses and knights.

I loved Legos when I was a kid. There were these sets with medieval knights and castles and stuff. Those were my favorites.

I have some of the Harry Potter ones now but they're for collecting.

I was never particularly bothered by Lego, despite having a box full of the stuff. All I'd really build were houses and cars.

We had one or two smaller sets that built specific things (can't remember what), but all of the pieces just got thrown together and the instructions were lost.. Useful!

I do quite enjoy the Lego videogames though.. ?

Loved it as a kid as well and I had a few cool sets. The best was a plane that I got as a gift which I loved, especially as I love planes.

Unfortunately, after a while, it just ended up as blocks in a box so it was hard to rebuild it. I still want to get some Lego Technic sets because the cars that they have are quite cool. Would love this one since a Porshe is my realistic car goal.

I had bucketloads of them but I was never really good with them tbh... only ever put together really basic stuff, some of the things you see in pictures look amazing though

This was me. I wasn't the best at building things but I enjoyed playing with them as a kid.

I always wanted'em as a kid, but we were poor. But in a local Pizza Hut restaurant i had the opportunity to play in the Kids' Room.

Those things must have been dirty as hell considering how kids are awful at hygiene. I remember going to those McDonalds play rooms as a kid but thinking back, I would not do that again

Yeah, but you don't think about hygiene when you're a little kid i guess, i remember it like yesterday that blocks were in something resembling a pool and they had all shapes and dimensions, i loved to build something like a castle from the mario games

i was heavily influenced by the super mario world final bowser castle design..

I would have loved seeing you build some of that stuff. I loved castles anyway. But I like Mario as well.

I was very creative in that matter, i'd drive my father crazy trying to figure out what i was doing i miss those days sometimes..

Lego has got so expensive nowadays, that a few fancy Lego Technic sets probably cost as much as a secondhand Porsche

My siblings and I played Lego toys during our childhood years. During my working days, I collected Lego toys in China. It serves my way of releasing stress there before.
