Do you think being lesbian is viewed as being worse, the same or better than being a gay man in society?

Do you think society is more accepting of lesbians? If so why do you think that is?

Why do gay men seem have more of a stigma than lesbians?

I think its because men tend to be more aggressive towards other men.

Straight men tend to fetishize lesbians because they are attracted to women, so naturally they aren't going to be hostile towards lesbians. Instead they are fascinated with their behavior.

Women tend to be more nurturing and accepting so you probably wont see much hostility (on average) coming from them.

The stigma on gay men comes from straight men being hostile towards something they aren't comfortable with.
