Do you think its possible to beat a lie detector test?

Of course it is. If you have got yourself into such a habit of lying all the time, and never feeling anything about it, then it can be beaten.



After all, all it measures is conductivity of the skin, pulse rate and respiration. If you keep your breathing down, your heart rate slow and you don't sweat, then you're gonna be fine, but it's easier said than done when it comes to being pressured like that. But again, if you're so natural at lying, it's going to be second nature and easy.

I say yes but its rare.

In any case they should not use lie detectors to prove anything that will determine a person's fate in prision or anything like that. They aways use them on talk shows.. Its funny.

most of them are 90% accurate so there's a 10% chance plus mental skill

I think your heart rate increases when you lie or something. Im not sure. Maybe if you are just relaxed you can beat it.

yeah if you're heart beat increases when you're lying that means you're nervous lying and therefore YOU CAN'T LIE

I think its also possible to convince yourself that something is true or that something happened in a certain way that it did not.

I think your heart rate will go up whenever you are placed in a situation were you are being tested - lying or not, it's not going to matter.

Yes it is possible to beat one, however it's extremely rare and probably not easy to do, I can't comment on it as ive never done it before though, in fact ive never had a test done before.

Neither have I. I cant really think of any situation I would ever need to take one. I probably wouldnt agree to it either. Who knows what they could ask. lol
