Been in a situation like that many times. I cope in a way that I think on it like this. At least they are willing to be friends with me. Better then nothing.

There is this guy in my school but I don't know him and have no idea if he's straight, gay or bi. But one time I was staring at him and then he turned and looked at me and then I pretended as if I was looking around the classroom.

But in answer to your question--yes, I have. But I thought about it. And really analyzed what I was feeling and realized that we were simply really good friends--he was like a big brother, not a lover. Made things a lot easier once I realized that.

Used to, but then again, why would I like someone I can't have? If I know for a fact I can not be with them, then it don't even phase me anymore. It's just something you have to get over and learn to adapt to.
