The other day at a restaurant I saw four people sitting at a table not far from us, all with their eyes on their phones, they barely looked up when the waitress brought their food, and spent most of their time with their eyes on the phones.
One of my comments to my wife was that I had to wonder if they even knew whether or not they got what they had ordered.

The other day when I went shopping, I saw this woman walking across the parking lot. Her eyes were on her phone and she walked right out in front of an oncoming car. Thank goodness the car saw her in time and stopped without hitting her. She was so oblivious to the fact she almost got hit, she just kept right on walking with her eyes glued to that damn phone.
There was something in the news recently about a woman in Florida who took a selfi and posted it to facebook while she was driving and was killed in a car accident while posting it.
