Physical attraction is always going to play a role in the foundation of a potential relationship, but personality is where it counts. You can't build a true relationship on lust alone.

Looks. It shouldn't be but it is. People are so shallow.

My first answer would have been "Both".

Seems like there needs to be that initial "spark" that gets attention; but....after first glance, the big basic is definitely character and personality!

This makes total sense and would have my vote for personality as well. You can be physically attracted to someone but if you're not compatible personality-wise, there's not much hope for the relationship.

Especially because lust is only short-lived. For some that based on just physical attraction alone usually dont last and they end up fighting, arguing etc, and nitpicking over petty stuff the other person is doing and what not.

Yeah, absolutely! Once the attraction fades, they've got nothing but the person, where they often find they have nothing in common.

Now, The attraction isn't everything however if the attraction outweighs the personality then yes better expect a disaster but if you find out that you have some things in common then that will help alot.
Relationships are both 100/100 in my eyes because they are work on both parts why would you put 50% in something that both should be equal on in cases.
Personality should be #1 then attractiveness 2nd
