Lord of the rings: Rings of Power

A new series lord of the rings: rings of power is releasing September 2nd on amazon prime.
Are you a lord of the rings fan and are you excited about watching this new series coming? Or do you like lord of the rings and not particularly excited about the upcoming series for one reason or another.

It's a big maybe for me. I liked Lord of the Rings when it came out in the early 2000's. The Hobbit was a bit of a disappointment to me because it felt nothing like the LOTR. Eh, but who knows, the show might be good.

I'm going to watch it, because I'm a massive Tolkien fan, but I'm skeptical about it being good. Particularly as I hear it's basically going to be a skimmed down version of The Silmarillion.

I still need to watch all the movies so I will probably get on to this show after that. I think I've only watched one or two LOTR movies but not in the actual order so I'll have to start from the beginning.

One of the best quality movies that I had watched. I cannot to watch new films related to it.
