How can someone lose your respect in one sentence or less?

One sentence that would make me lose respect? Hmmm....

"I am a liberal."

"I voted for Obama."

Yeah, either of those would do it.

That's all it takes?

Guess you'd hate me. I can swear a lot and not realise. I manage to avoid doing it in front of kids though. For me, that's the big no-no.

One thing I forgot to say is that if I give you respect, you've earned it from me. Which is why I don't tend to lose respect for people - because a lot of them, I don't have any to begin with.

If you screw me over, and I lose respect for you, then I don't think it's ever possible for you to ever get it back.

I wouldn't lose respect for someone simply over them swearing a lot. That seems a lil harsh to me.

But to answer the question .. not sure that I could totally lose respect for, or judge someone solely based on one lone sentence.

If I hear anything racist, bullying, outright lies though .. that is another whole different story..

Anyone who speaks internet lingo in real life.

Anyone who thinks bikers are all bad people.
