Losing respect for someone? That's rare.
People can always change and learn from their mistakes, especially when it comes to forums. It's on them if they don't change when they did something really insensitive and immature, whatever fits the situation.
I hadn't lost respect in anyone yet.

I've done this however it wasn't a member, it was an Administrator I had assigned onto the team to help with services and the like and he eventually became to power hungry and started acting like he owned the place. He basically got a big head, he didn't like that I demoted him after that.
Spammers and Flammers, Also people that continue to make bad decisions that piss people off, People that twist my words and then blame me saying I've insulted them and proceed to turn the whole forum on me!
As Jazzy said I ignore them. Or worse leave.

Every time you log on Facebook, they hit the 'chat' feature and bug the life out of you. Every time you log on a forum, the private messages start. They lie, they doctor and edit messages and E Mails and then forwarded them on to any-one who will listen to them. They phone your house to ask your husband personal questions about your marraige when they know you are out. They message your family and even your husband about you when they see them log onto a forum.
When you finally dump them, they turn and then send messages to every other member full of lie's and hate filled bile.
They then post on forums that It Is YOU that is trolling them. They Insist they have you on Ignore yet report your posts.
They then Insist that they have been banned from at least 4 other forums because YOU have lied about them. They Insist that no-one answers their threads or posts and has no friends because YOU lied about them despite them being banned on forums and having no friends long before you came on the scene.
People like this should never ever be given any private details... they are sad losers who then latch on to their next victem.
It starts with 'Hey Babes', or 'Hello my friend', can I have your E Mail addy because I do not trust the messaging system on the forum'... What they are really saying Is... I want to badmouth every member but do not want the site owner seeing what I say...

Wow, now that would be enough for someone to really lose my trust and respect in a heartbeat. Like many members on this or any other forum, I have a life, I have a job that I have been at for 14 months on Wednesday, and if anyone thinks that can pull that one on me, I wouldn't even respond. All 20 emails would be trashed pronto, and if I knew how to block users on Yahoo, that person would be blocked from contacting me at once. I know that sounds harsh, but really, some of us do have real life issues to attend to as well, and that does not involve responding to 20 + emails.

I am afraid It is all true although the person In question has been leading others a merry dance convincing them It Is the other way around but sooner or later they get busted.
They also latch on to a new member like a smelly barnacle on a hull desperate for a new friend.
Very soon you see who the new victem on a forum is because they can not help themselves by posting on a thread to them... 'Oh I sent you an E Mail and I am still waiting'... Then un-known to them the new victem Is messaging you asking how the hell do they get rid of them?
These people become so convinced that It is every-one elses fault that most members have them blocked, they will never see It and never change. The very best all concerned can do is Ignore them and block all E Mail and messages.
