Has anyone ever lied about their age to join a site that has a minimum age requirement? And did you ever change your age back to your actual one?

No. Have you?

Lol tonnes when I was a kid because even stuff like Bebo you had to be 13 to join. Don't think I ever changed it back once I actually reached the required age though.

Nope, back when I was underage COPPA was a thing, but it wasn't enforced on forums very often, so I just joined as my real age and went about my business :D

Yeah, back in my teens to enter adult sites :P

Other than that.. not anywhere else.

I lied about my age to buy M rated video games when I was a 16 years old. I lied about my age to get on video game websites. I didn't know how to erase history on my mom's computer so I didn't dare look up porn. I'd get flogged the moment she found it.

I wonder if one day we will have a generation that can't answer this question with a "Yes". I'm sure governments and some groups want to improve age verification for certain sites

I don't see a way anyone can tell the real age of someone signing up or any website.

Unless they implement real ID on sites, it’s basically scout’s honor.

Only way to monitor anything is for people to have IDs to go on much like a real world one they may have. But that will make things complicated for a lot of websites.

The only way anyone can use a laptop or computer at work is we have to insert our ID badge into a slot on said machine. I guess this way the government is keeping track of what their employees are doing online. Perhaps this will also be the method for non-government employees in the future.

I love lying about my age. Oh I'm 19. Wow you look amazing. Thank you
