Lying about your age to register

Only way to monitor anything is for people to have IDs to go on much like a real world one they may have. But that will make things complicated for a lot of websites.

They've been threatening that in the UK for a while but I can't see it becoming a reality. Not sure how many people would be willing to link a porn site with their ID

I remember they were trying to push a porn pass or license in 2017.

I was living there at the time, and that was announced when I was moving back to the US.

The good news is that it has become quite recently regarding that. We seem to have way too many other problems for that to become a main talking point again

Speaking of which, adult websites are starting to require age verification via ID or driver's license to keep kids and teenagers off of their sites.

I have not tried it because they require certain documents to prove it. It is better to be clear and consistent in meeting their requirements than to have problems later on.
