Several people I work with have had it.
They Had it.
Most of them had billing issues, seems the adapter and number was $20, but their calls were billed at a higher rate than even the phone company. And one wasn't allowed to activate until he gave them a credit card number, even though he'd bought the unit at a store.
Others had problems completing calls from the magic jack provider to outside numbers and they found that because it was VoIP, the quality wasn't as good as it would have been, and that even local calls sounded bad.
I would do a LOT of research before I even thought about signing up.
