Anybody here listen to both types? To clear up what I mean by Mainstream and Underground.

Mainstream: People you hear a lot. Like Slipknot, Eminem, Lil Wayne, T-Pain, and such.

Underground: People you probably aren't aware of unless you are told or find about about them somehow. Like Sicktanick, Razakel, Ensizion, Stitches, D-Pryde, Kody, Iron Workers Guild, and many others.

When it comes to music I generally listen to underground music. I like Atmosphere, Immortal Technique, De La Sol, and A Tribe Called Quest.

Thumbs up...

I've heard of Immortal Technique. I think the same for A Tribe Called Quest. Never heard anything of either group's material.

I only listen to Indie music. Los Campesinos, Noah and the Whale, Slow Club, Islands, of Montreal. That genre of it. Can't stand mainstream actually and while I know some of it's not too terribly bad for some reason I have this preconceived notion in my mind that makes me auto hate it. D:

Ohh. Maybe you'll be able to break it one day. If you want, I can link you up to an Underground Radio station I listen too.

Dunno if I want to break it. ;p And yeah I'll give this underground station you listen to a listen.

You should listen to them then. I recommend Immortal Technique's Dance with the Devil, You Never Know, and The Fourth Branch.

Yeah I'm mostly into undergroundish stuff. But I like some of Eminem's older stuff. And I guess Tech N9ne is mainstreamish too. I just like good music, I don't necessarily care whether it is mainstream or not.

313 and Tonite. It's a whole lot different than his new work, that's for sure. Shows how much artists really can change.

Alright. I'll hook you up with the link soon. From what I know, even when a DJ isn't on there, they keep it on auto.

Okay, thanks man. I will definitely do that when I get a chance.

I can get behind that kind of thinking. And yeah, I didn't even know about Tech N9ne until like a few years ago while in the car and his 'I'ma Playa' song came on the radio.
