A new report has updates on MLW’s media rights discussions and plans for a new TV series. As previously reported, MLW CEO Court Bauer has been in talks with potential media partners for a new rights deal. PWInsider reports that the company is in the process of new meetings for media rights. The company has had such meetings in New York City and Los Angeles, among other locations.

The report also mentions that the company’s plans for a new weekly TV series have progressed. The company is currently at the point of looking for new talent to serve as backstage interviewers. It was reported in mid-September that the company was in talks for a new show. If fruitful, it would be their first weekly show since Fusion concluded in December 2023 with a “season finale.”

MLW’s current media partner in the US is beIN Sports, which airs monthly MLW events. The shows also stream live on YouTube. MLW content airs on StarTimes in several countries in Africa and Wataaa Fight Channel in the Middle East. While it can be assumed that the media rights talks are for US distribution, that has not been specified in the report.

The PWInsider report also notes that O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Americana director Tony Toat were at MLW Slaughterhouse earlier this month
