Making new friends?

Do you make new friends often? Is it easy for you?

What does it take for you to consider someone a friend to you?

I find it difficult. I'm not really someone who can just go out, speak to a random person very easily.

I have no problem speaking to new people, unless they are in a group then I struggle as paranoia sets in.

I don't really make 'friends' a such, as I don't trust people.

As I am a person who has a mental condition (Aspergers Syndrome) plus the fact that I was not integrated into a social circle during my youth, I find making new friends hard. Although, I only make a new friend if that person is a nice person and not a complete jerk.
