Police arrested a Colorado man on hate crime charges after he was seen on a TikTok video making "racist and homophobic" comments at an In-N-Out Burger on Christmas Eve in California.

Two friends of Asian descent were recording a video of themselves when Jordan Krah, 40, approached them "unprovoked" and caused them to fear for their safety, according to a news release from San Ramon police Monday.

Arine Kim, 20, told USA TODAY that she was filming her friend's reaction to the food when a man approached them.

In the nearly three-minute edited video, Kim can be seen passing her friend a fry when the voice of a man addresses the friends and says several slurs. Kim appears to be shocked as her friend laughs uncomfortably.

"I was taken aback," Kim said in recalling the incident.

Later, the man can be heard asking the friends if they are "Japanese or Korean" and then states: "You're Kim Jong Un's boyfriend, huh?" The man makes a crude statement about "gay sex."
This honestly was wow to see, but sad.

Police made a post on socials about it:

And here's the OG TikTok video

I was like ....what? People from the bay area usually aren't like that, then I heard he was from out of state (visiting the area) so it made sense. He's not used to the diversity those of us who live here are accustomed to I suppose. What a douche.

Seriously. I feel bad for people like this who simply cannot see to reason. These are human beings you're ranting and raving at. I'm glad he was arrested.

I live in the south and have never encountered anyone quite like this either. There were a couple of older people (part time retired folks) at an old job of mine who were openly racist, but they got forced out pretty quickly (and rightfully so). We generally don't tolerate this kind of behavior in my area either.

It's sad that there are still people who think it's acceptable to attack others for their ethnicity. It's unacceptable.

Glad he was picked up, he needs to be held accountable for his disgusting actions. You don't hate someone just for being something you aren't. Will we never learn this?

Agreed. So silly to bully someone for being a certain ethnicity. Its not like when we're born we get to choose what ethnicity we are.

Cancel that, I just googled 'Asian population in Denver, CO' and its almost 26,000 people (as of 2020). He probably hates on them over there too.

Nah, I totally chose to be born as I was, just threw a dart at the map and went *pow* Bolton, England, picked a random couple getting busy and took my turn. I picked wrong...

Yeah, for sure. Some people are just plain ignorant assholes.
