AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Montgomery County District Attorney Lorraine Diamond announced on Friday that a jury convicted Jermaine Wilson on the charge of unlawful dissemination or publication of an intimate image, also known as revenge porn. This followed a trial held in Amsterdam City Court before the Honorable Lisa Lorman.
Hon. Lorman has issued an arrest warrant for Wilson, who did not appear for trial. Anyone with information about Wilson’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Amsterdam Police Department at (518) 842-1100.
The district attorney says Wilson was charged with a complaint from an ex-girlfriend that alleged he posted an intimate photo of her on his Facebook story to retaliate against their recent breakup. He will face up to one year in Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
