Man microwaves PS4 in the name of art

The PlayStation 4 is the hottest new gadget around, as one 'artist' has literally proved.

On Friday, gamers in America got their hands on Sony's new £348 console and spent the weekend avidly playing them.

Not self-proclaimed 'professional microwaver' Kenny Irwin though, who frazzled it in a microwave and then put it on eBay as a 'piece of art'.

The 39-year-old filmed the highly-anticipated console catching fire after one minute 44 seconds, before listing it on the auction site for $11,151.30 (£6,922), complete with a certificate of authenticity.
